Why Use Hot Designs?

Great Work Helps Sell Your Company
Bad design rears its ugly head in ways you may never realize. A poorly designed logo is out there representing you when you're not even there to defend yourself. An ad that looks like a jumbled up mess with twelve different fonts and a bad photo is talking to customers, but it's likely not sending the message you intended. A website with poorly thought out navigation, a lot of dead space, bad composition and color choices and stretched out graphics is telling the world that your business isn't doing well enough to have it done professionally. So you let your nephew do the work, or maybe you're just one of those people who boasts "I know just enough to be dangerous" without realizing how right you really are.

Why Work with a Designer
An experienced designer knows when to use the tools and when not to. Using all of the bells and whistles, clip art, colors, sounds, effects, and whatever else is thrown into your free software doesn't make anyone look professional.

A designer can wade through mounds of rubble and sort it out: pick out what's salvageable and reuse, rework or repurpose the recycleables, and scrap the junk. They can channel random thoughts, read between lines, sift through piles of information and materials, and formulate an organized plan. They can come up with a solution, even after you've said "I don't really know what I like but I'll know when I see it."

The experienced designer starts with the goal or problem, and offers a solution. Anything that doesn't match the goal is immediately eliminated. That may include not using the photos you were attached to, but in the end, there's a reason for everything.

A designer can offer solutions to improve your image, while listening to your needs, and create in the end what is best for your company. In short, a designer will make sure you look professional.

Working with someone on the outside is important. People from within your company can only see it from that perspective which puts you at a disadvantage. An external point of view is critical to making sure you're not "stuck" in your own head.

The Hot Designs Work Process >>

Experience
Hot Designs is owned and operated by Shanna Blasingame, a designer with experience that pre-dates graphics software, when logos were drawn, get this, by hand! She has honed her skills, kept up with the changing internet and social media demands, and no matter what you throw at her, she has already been there and done that. If she hasn't she knows how to find someone of quality who can.

Extremely Personal Service
At Hot Designs, you work directly with the designer. Communication is hard enough without layers of middle men (otherwise known as account reps).
