Work Process

Getting Started
Usually a project begins like this: a client emails or calls about an idea. After you give the details about your project, you'll be given an estimate, usually in a range. (ie: $100-200) Assume the high end for budgeting purposes. The more information and preparation from you, the smaller the gap in the estimated range.

The Go Ahead
Once you agree to the estimate, you will be asked to sign a Work Agreement so there is a clear understanding of payment terms and the process.

Design Begins
The design process begins with a question and answer session. I ask questions about your target market, tastes and all details about the project needed to get to the drawing board. You'll be kept in the loop through the entire process, and become a partner.

Checkpoints during the design process are frequent to prevent going down the wrong path. Nothing is worse than a designer spending YOUR money, tweaking and perfecting an idea during the concept stage, to find out they were going the wrong direction in the first place. At each checkpoint you can give feedback, make changes, etc.

My goal is to work in the most creative, computer and web-savvy, intelligent, communicative, efficient way possible.

Approval
Once a design is complete with your approval, the work is released upon payment of the design work. (unless prior arrangements are made for billing)

Hot Designs Guarantee:  There will be no miscommunication from account executive > to creative director > to art director > to designer > to programmer. (this is not an exaggeration, and can be worse, as you know if you've ever worked with an agency).
